Scouting offers your son or daughter the opportunities and experiences that they will carry with themselves for the rest of their life. Cub Scouting offers boys and girls in grades 1 – 5 a supportive environment organized by grade into dens up to 10 children with two adult leaders. The dens meet once or twice per month to take part in activities designed to develop their self-esteem, creativity, and respect for one another as well as to learn good citizenship, health and fitness, outdoor skills, and social skills important for leadership in tomorrow’s world.
- Den and Pack Meetings
- Water Rocket Derby
- Pinewood Derby
- Blue and Gold Banquet Dinner to celebrate scout volunteers and the scouts birthday.
- Annual Camp Outs
- Marching in Parades
- Field Trips. Past trips included camping on a Battle Ship and the PawSox outfield.
